Hey There Bookworms!
Valentine's Day is right around the corner. Like literally, it's tomorrow! Whether you've got someone special you spend it with, friends to have a galentine's/palentine's extravaganza, or just looking forward to a chilled evening by yourself, there's one thing you need to make the day even better - romance reads! Last year I recommend some romance books to check out for V-Day. This year, I'm sharing with you five romance authors, and which of their books are some of my faves. So cosy up in your favourite reading spot, bust out the chocolate and pour yourself a cheeky glass of wine (or lime cordial, whatever takes your fancy) and dive into the works of these authors.
I don't know about you, but I'm feeling twenty-- three?
Damn, I can no longer use that meme. Nonetheless, here's to being 23! And to celebrate, I'm continuing my tradition of recommending YOU guys books as my birthday present to you. This tradition is probably silly as these posts are only going to get longer and longer as the years go by, but it's great to be able to share some of my favourite books with you year after year.
Now, some of these books have appeared on my previous two lists, but that just means they're books you NEED to read! If you're interested, check out my 2016 and 2017 birthday recommendation lists for even more books to add to your TBR list. So let's get started!
Hey There Booklovers!
Valentine's Day is coming up this week, and no matter what your plans are, you can't go past a great romance read. If you've been following my blog/channel/social media, you will know that I'm a big fan of contemporary romances, having read a tonne of them last year.
So today, in honour of Valentine's Day, I'm recommending you guys seven romance reads to pick up this week! But, I'm going to be doing it a little differently - sharing five things about the book that should hopefully entice you. And, if the those points intrigue you, I've linked to all my reviews for the books so you can really see what they are about and what I thought about them.
Halloween is a little over a week away, so I thought it was the perfect time to share with you seven spooky season recommendations that you can read over the next week. I have a mix of creepy reads and fantasy reads, and I'm pretty sure there's something here for everyone!
Today, in honour of my 22nd birthday, I thought I'd give you all the gift of book recommendations - twenty-two of them to be precise! Last year I recommended 21 books and thought I'd do the same this year (this could become a very long yearly tradition!). I'm pretty sure some of these books featured on my list last year, but that just means they are all really great books you should pick up if you haven't already.
Over the weekend, I uploaded a recommendations video featuring all of these books, where I go into a little more detail about what each is about. For this post, I'm simply sharing the books with you, and linking you to my review, Goodreads and BookDepository.
I'd love to know your thoughts on any of these books!
I AM OFFICIALLY AN ADULT!
Last Tuesday I turned 21, and I honestly don't know where the time has gone. I swear I was only just in primary school! But anyway, I thought that to celebrate my birthday, I'd share with you 21 books/series that I definitely think you should add to your TBR!
