Hey there fellow NaNo-ers and Booklovers!
We made it, we are week into NaNoWriMo for 2017! How have you gone so far? I hope you're powering through your word count and smashing those daily goals. If you're a little behind, don't worry! You're still going to smash NaNo this year - it's not about winning, it's about getting that novel started!
Here's a little update about my first week of writing.
Hey Booklovers & Fellow NaNo-ers!
November is upon us, and with it comes National Novel Writing Month, where us crazy people try to write a 50,000 word novel in just 30 days. As crazy as it is, I'm back at it for a third year, because what else what I do in November?
Hey There Booklovers!
Once again, I'm committing a month of my life to write a novel of 50,000 words for NaNoWriMo!
Last year I participated in National Novel Writing Month for the first time, and I really enjoyed the experience. While I didn't 'win', I did get 21,164 words, which is pretty great achievement in itself. This year, I've decided to continue the novel I was working on last year.
So keep reading if you want to know a little more about what I'm working on!
Hello fellow booklover and Wrimer!
November is right around the corner and that means NaNoWriMo 2015 is about the start!
What is NaNoWriMo I hear you ask?
NaNoWriMo [National Novel Writing Month] is "a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing." From November 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by November 30.
It sounds like a totally crazy thing to do - how can people write a whole novel in just one month? It sounds crazy, because it is crazy, but it's a fun experience.
This year will be my first NaNoWriMo and I'm really excited. I've had a story idea buzzing round in my head all year and now I can finally let is free and hopefully it will turn into something really great. More than likely, it won't be that good, but it's all about experience the NaNo joys and experimenting with your ideas.
Time will Not Separate Us
I'm aiming for a historical fantasy, and the idea in my head is really awesome, I just hope it will translate well onto paper and that I can flesh it out and make it a great story.
Here is the synopsis I have planned out for my novel. It will more than likely change, but it will give you an idea as to what I'm hoping to write about during November:
It started with a ring and spanned centuries.
When Mia Logue comes across a medieval ring, her life gets a little more complicated as she realises that someone who existed over 500 years ago has been searching for her, and that he's in the 21st century. But what does he want with her?
As she comes to learn about the secrets of the ring, she journey's through her past lives in order to be finally be reunited with her soul mate.
Time travel is a dangerous thing, especially when there are powerful people trying to stop you from surviving.
Are you doing NaNoWriMo this year? Let me know!
I'm excited for November and just hope that I can get something written. While 50,000 words is the ultimate goal [which only equates to 1,666 words a day which sounds accomplish-able], I will be stoked if I can get the basis of a story written and have some idea as to where I want the story to go.

Bring on November and 50,000 words in 30 days!
See you soon!
