Hey There Booklovers!
Can you believe we are at the end of another year?! I honestly can't believe I'm here doing another end-of-year post - it doesn't feel like I've been doing this nearly three years. As we near the end of 2017, I thought I should share with you some of my most anticipated released for the first four months of 2018. These are definitely not all the books that I'm looking forward to during this period, but they are definitely the books I'm hoping to read asap!
Let me know what 2018 releases you're looking forward to and I hope that maybe I've added a book or two to your ever-growing TBR.
Now that we are nearly the next third of the year, I thought I'd share with you some of my most anticipated releases for May through August. If you didn't see my post for the first four months, read here.
Be sure to let me know which books you're excited about reading in the next four months!
It's nearing the end of the year, which means that while we are preparing for Christmas, we booklovers are also looking into the new year and the book releases it will bring. Despite all my unread books, there are heaps of new books on the way in 2017 that I'm super excited for.
Here are eleven books that are being released in the first quarter next year that I can't wait to get my hands on!
Now that we are in June, I thought I'd share with you some of my most anticipated releases for the rest of the year. Some of these did appear on my first list, but most are new additions to my most anticipated list.
So here are 15 of my most anticipate book releases for the second part of 2016:
Hello booklover & fellow Potterheads!
Can you believe the news? WE'RE GETTING AN 8TH HARRY POTTER BOOK!
Well, kind of.
It's been announced that the script for Cursed Child will be released in book form, so that fans all over the world can experience the play! To be honest, I was kind of hoping the play would be recorded and distributed (and it still might!) but this is still very exciting and I can't wait until July 31!
"Little, Brown Book Group announces today that they will publish the script book Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I & II, an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, a new play by Jack Thorne written to be enjoyed on stage. The Special Rehearsal Edition of the script book will be published at 10am on 31st July 2016 AEST, following the play’s opening on 30th July, bringing the eighth Harry Potter story to a wider, global audience. The script eBook will be published simultaneously with the print editions by Pottermore, in collaboration with Little, Brown Book Group in the UK, and Scholastic in the US and Canada."
The eighth story. Nineteen years later.
Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a new play by Jack Thorne, is the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage. It will receive its world premiere in London’s West End on 30th July 2016.
It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband, and father of three school-age children.
While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes darkness comes from unexpected places.
This book has instantly hit top spot on my most anticipated releases of 2016 (bumping Glass Sword, which I have already finished). While it's technically not the eighth book everyone has dreamed of, it's still the eighth book that shows us what life is like 19 years later!
I'm still holing out for a Marauder's Era book/series though!
See you all soon!
