Halloween is only 3 days away and I am excited. Here in Australia, we don't really celebrate Halloween as much as everyone does in the USA and UK, but that doesn't stop a lot of us from enjoying the day. Most shops have Halloween items for sale - decorations, costumes, lollies, even though I'm pretty sure very few people go trick-or-treating (at least where I live anyway).
Nevertheless, I'll be spending the day marathoning the Saw movies. I planned to watch them all last Halloween, but only managed to finish the first three, so this year I'm definitely going to get through them all (which may be hard as I'll be going out that morning, but I will endeavour to reach my goal!)
Today, I'll be recommending my top five Halloween recommendations, which you can spend the day reading (if I haven't finished my last spooky read by Saturday, I'll be trying to finish it as well as the Saw movies).
I haven't read that many Halloween-esque books, but I think this list is great for those who don't really want to read anything to scary, but still want to be in the Halloween mood.
Hello there fellow book lovers!
I've read heaps of new to me authors this year, and they have all been amazing. I've either read all their work, or intend to read more as soon as possible. So when I had to narrow it down to just five for T5W, I had to make some tough decisions!
But, I think I've managed to narrow it down to my top 5, so lets do this.
I can't wait to read more work by these authors because there work has had a lasting impact on me, and are books that I will reread in the future.
Let me know your top five authors you've discovered this year!
See you soon
